First: foods to avoid
Prepared foods, anything from a package, can box or from a restaurant. The reason is that these foods will contain additive, colors, preservatives and or GMO ingredients.
Animal products, these items will at best challenge your digestion, at most, some are shown to contribute to cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes and more.
Second: foods to include
Raw foods as much as you care to consume
- Leafy Greens
- Colorful vegetables
- Peas
Starches (most need some cooking) enough to get your calorie requirement
- Baked sweet potatoes
- Cooked Beans
- Oatmeal
Nuts, seeds, adjust amount from about a tablespoon each or more to manage calories.
- Almonds
- Sunflower seeds
- Pumpkin seeds
- Flax Seeds
Nuts and seeds are best after soaking in distilled water eight hours or more and rinsed to reduce the enzyme inhibitors, and included in the blended drinks. I mix with vegetables, starch (oatmeal) and berries, but each person will need to pay attention and test what their body does best consuming).
Whole Fruits in moderation
Many berries have been shown to damage cancer cells
- Blueberries (Frozen organic year round)
- Strawberries (Frozen organic year round)
- Most other fruits are fine when consumed whole (to moderate the sugar)
